Violinist, conductor and composer

Initially trained with his father, a violinist in the orchestra of the Gran Teatre del Liceu. He later studied at the Conservatori del Liceu where, years later he would also teach. He moved for a few years to Buenos Aires, where he was part of the orchestras of various Argentinian theaters. He returned to Barcelona where he taught private violin lessons.

He composed music for voice and piano and others such as Melancolía per a violí i orquestra (1895) and Idilio (1899) for strings, harmonium and piano.
