Performer, conductor and composer

He studied at the Escola Municipal de Música of Barcelona, and was a disciple of Enric Morera. A scholarship from Barcelona City Council allowed him to study in Paris where, between 1923 and 1925, he studied with Alexandre Tansmann. He was soloist of the Orquestra Simfònica of Gran Teatre del Liceu, and teacher at the Conservatori del Liceu. He ended his days in Colombia where he was conductor of the Bogota Orchestra. In addition, he composed multiple works, including orchestral music such as the Simfonia de Cambra (1948).
