Kapellmeister and Organist 

He probably started his musical education at the escolania of the cathedral of Lleida. In 1759, he entered the service of the cathedral of Barcelona, where would become Kapellmeister (1774-1815). His figure is inscribed in the classical style and his output includes religious music, among them, oratorios such as Daniel en Babilonia (1777) or Oratorio dels dolors (1796). He was the teacher of figures such as Baltasar Saldoni, Mateu Ferrer and Ramon Vilanova.
