Performer, pedagogue and composer

He studied at the Pontifical Seminary of Tarragona, and later studied teaching. He was professor of singing and music at the Escola Normal de Tarragona and between 1906 and 1930, he was conductor of the Orfeó Tarragoní. He also worked as a Kapellmeister in various churches in Tarragona. He had an extensive output, including a Mass of the Dead and fifteen sardanas.
