Composer

He started his music education at Escolania de Montserrat (1914-1923) and later continued with Juli Garreta. He was organist and Kapellmeister of the parish of Sant Feliu de Guíxols and conducted the Orfeó Nova Gesòria whilst being member of the Quintet Garreta and the Orchestra of Teatre Vidal. He mainly composed sardanas and music for cobla, as well as some religious pieces. His output includes the symphonic episode for three cobles El timbal del Bruc (1929).
